Abstract:
The DLR project DiCaDeMa (Digital Cabin Architectures and Design for Manufacturing) investigated a process chain with end-to-end digital integration, from cabin design to the semi-automated assembly of cabin components. Particular emphasis was placed on enabling last-minute modifications to the design configuration before final assembly (last-minute customization). In the application under consideration, the plausibility of the configuration is automatically checked based on a desired configuration of the hatracks, and the suspension points on the frames are calculated. The process steps are generated and simulated for the assembly cell. Collision-free paths are then sent to the shop floor. For the final demonstration, a full-size mock-up and an AMR with a UR10 and an end effector for marking the suspension points were used. This paper describes the further development of the project and concludes last year´s publication (1).
